Good & fresh casual food. The quesadillas rock and the smoothies are awesome.

Good, fast and cheap food. No parking, no waiting, no junk food. Limited, few and best Latino/Spanish food. Day time, family food and weekdays for everyone.

Good variety of tea and coffee that you can enjoy while you connect your device to the WiFi and share your fabulous pictures of the lovely places you have visited in San Francisco with your family and friends.

Average food premade hashbrowns not very savory. The cheese was the only really discernable flavor too bad

Great place to have coffee and get online. Been going there since the late 1990s.

I used to live at Sutter and Larkin, and for the 10 years that I lived there, I went multiple times a week. During that time I made a number of friends and we would meet there on the weekends. Now I live in Presidio Heights and, once things reopen, I will return.

Veggie quesadilla tasted awful with uncooked chunks of Zucchini. Some unsavory cheese was used instead of the usual Mexican cheese. May have been Swiss cheese which is not a good cheese to use in a quesadilla. Plus the menu stated that it will be served with Avocado, salsa, and sour cream. Neither were provided. When I asked about it, I was told that it's inside the quesadilla. However it wasn't. Overall don't expect good customer service.

A shadow of it's former self. This business, when it opened was the first sign of this party of Polk Street looking up! Now it's just another coffee place. There is nothing particularly wrong with it. It's just nothing special.

Lovely place, lovely staff and great food. They are very reasonably priced and even could be considered a great deal. I love the food, the atmosphere and the prices! If you're health conscious, budget conscious and in need of a calm, inviting ambiance, this is the place.

I went into this coffee shop today with my pregnant girl friend. She was craving a pastry. While she looked over the menu, I was going to use the restroom. The lady working the cash register stopped me in my tracks and said “can I help you?†as I made my way through the restaurant. I said, I’m going to use the bathroom while my girlfriend picks something. She gave me a dirty look and said that the bathroom was for customers only. She said this while another person was at the register finishing their order, so she couldn’t attend to us right when we walked in anyways. I pointed at my girlfriend and said, “do u not see her waiting for you to get done so she can order? I felt totally profiled and disrespected as there were people all around us watching this unfold. They all couldn’t believe how rude this woman was to me. I walked out and plan to never come back again. Stop in for a racist cup of joe.

Love this place, lots of seating. Good volume of music. Not to loud so you can still study. The food & cafe drinks are delicious. The staff are super friendly as well. No parking lot available, only street parking. Bus stops super close by.

Healthy food, good value, comfortable interior, friendly staff

Overpriced coffee and not so fresh food clutter the counter. The Russian and Ukrainian women who serve are nice. The Middle eastern owners are surly, abrupt and run people away from the al fresco seating, especially if one doesn't buy something, anything at their exorbitant prices. Don't even think about asking to use the restroom unless you're willing to buy something for over $5, the minimum debit card purchase
Steve K Nielsen
Really good food and service

Strawberry and Nutella crepes for $6. Mmm.
Nate Herse

Yummy, yummy, yummy! Hmm? What do you think my opinion of Quetza would be? They make yummy food! Oh yeah, I do like this place. I stumbled across this low key find while walking down the street to a Mission bus. I was hungry and you can fill in the rest. Prices are quite reasonable and there were only 3 or 4 other diners at another table at the time. My order didn't take too long and, lo and behold, my pork taco was ready for my consumption. And it wuz guuud. Oh yeah. I'll be going back next time I'm in the area. By all means go and enjoy a lovely meal. I doubt you'll disagree.

I stop by here to have breakfast before going air port. A guy staff there told me that he would serve food to my seat. I waited there for 20mins for morning sandwich. I went to him and asked about my food. He said ' I called your food, but you didn't come'. He served to all other guest except me. I almost missed my flight. This is awful experience.

Whoa. Effing expensive for something so unremarkable, I totally forgot what it was. I just remember the shock when I paid.

Quetzal serves Fair Trade Coffee. The coffee I ordered was pre-brewed. I did not notice any pour over funnel or drip. The coffee served the day I stopped by was French Roast. The cafe offered free Wi-Fi. The bathroom was filthy and unkept. The cafe is best visited by bus or on foot. The area is close to the tenderloin. This Cafe is worth a visit.

They charge extra for almond milk without telling me there was an extra charge...for that small amnt. in your cappucino!..they said it was unsweetened...it was sweetened....Asked them politely if they could turn the loud generic music down...they turned it up instead...no wonder the place is empty! Coffee is good...could be a great place if they would clean up there act, get a music consultant and stay open late.
Kenneth Mau
Blazing fast wifi and DSL lines which are fed under the table... Great vibes... Cute cashier... A Polk Street gem.

I frequent this place, and I do so because it is one of the best places to hangout in the city. The internet is of a decent speed, the staff is nice, and I rather like the food AND the location. My only quarrel is that they do not offer free refills on iced coffee. Quetzal, if you're listening, the people of San Francisco want free refill's on their iced coffee!

Cool atmosphere.

I used to get coffee and pastries here 3 times a week and I loved it. I loved the service and the great choice of music too. About 2 years ago I ordered chicken salad. The salad came with deli slices of chicken that were green... Green slices of chicken = stale, room-temperature chicken. I have not visited the place since that day.

Great wifi and data service. The service was good and the food was decent. It was a little messy but besides that I enjoyed my time there.
